Let’s Play (Playthroughs)

Among the first games I can recall playing are the Commodore 64 title International Soccer, and the game Antarctic Adventure! The Super Nintendo – or SNES – was the first game console I owned, and I’ve enjoyed playing video games for almost as long as I can remember.

On this page you’ll find playthroughs – also known as the “let’s play” series. I first experimented with this format with the 2019 title Jedi: Fallen Order, and more recently I attempted a playthrough of Luigi’s Mansion 3. This will be an occasional part of the website going forward, so stay tuned for further playthrough series!

I have a huge list of potential titles for the next “let’s play” adventure, so I hope you’ll join me in future to see which games make the cut!

Luigi’s Mansion 3

Luigi’s Mansion 3 was developed by Nintendo and released on Nintendo Switch in time for Halloween 2019, and I began playing it a year later. For various reasons this playthrough didn’t make for a great writing project – but see my “final thoughts” article for my conclusions about the game.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was released in 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It was developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. I played the PC version of the game in July 2020.
