In March 2023, Paramount announced Star Trek: Starfleet Academy – a brand-new series that will follow the lives of cadets and their instructors at the renowned institution. The series is in production, and a second season has been confirmed. I would expect to see Season 1 in 2026 and Season 2 in 2027-28. Starfleet Academy is set in the Discovery timeline, and will bring back several characters from that series – as well as one character from Voyager!
