Mario Kart

I’ve been a Mario Kart fan since the early 1990s! I played Super Mario Kart on the SNES over and over again, and I’ve been fortunate to have played every single title that has been released in the series since then, with the exception of Mario Kart World. Perhaps it’s the nostalgia talking, but I have a soft spot for Super Mario Kart and Mario Kart 64 in particular!

Below, you can find all of my commentary on the Mario Kart series, including reviews of the Booster Course Pass, a tier list of all the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe racetracks, previews of Mario Kart World, and more. If and when I buy a Switch 2 – which is not guaranteed, but possible in the months or years ahead – I daresay I’ll check out Mario Kart World for myself! But until then, I hope there’s something interesting to get stuck into here.

E3 2021 – predictions and/or wishes

“From Microsoft and Electronic Arts to Nintendo and Ubisoft, practically all of the big names in the games industry will have something to say over the next few weeks…”

Fifteen games worthy of a second look in Spring 2021

“There are plenty of fun titles on the horizon, but some of the ones I was most looking forward to have recently been delayed, prompting me to look at my library and put together this list…”

Games of the Generation

“I’ve been incredibly fortunate over the last eight years to have played a number of different games across all four major consoles…”

Ten more games I’d remaster (if I could)

“Some of the biggest companies in the games industry have recently put lots of money into remakes and remasters, and some games that I’d never have expected – like Destroy All Humans and Command and Conquer – have been brought up-to-date. So there’s a chance….”
