Voyager

Voyager took us on a fantastic journey – from the far side of the galaxy all the way back to Earth!

During Voyager’s original run here in the UK, I followed along for all seven seasons. It was the third – and, for a long time, final – Star Trek series that I’d watch without fail every week. Captain Janeway led her crew on a dangerous and exciting voyage through the faraway and mysterious Delta Quadrant, and the show mixed in typical Star Trek tales of exploration with the overarching quest to make it back home. The crew formed a community – isolated from the rest of Starfleet, they had to rely on each other!

Voyager didn’t get everything right – its “one ship, two crews” idea didn’t stick around for very long, Seven of Nine became quite repetitive, and the show over-used one of Star Trek’s best villains: the Borg. But despite those flaws, it remains a thoroughly fantastic series! This page is an archive of all of my posts about Voyager, including episode write-ups, theories, character studies, and more. Beware spoilers for more recent Star Trek shows, especially Picard.
